Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 June 2026

By accessing or using the IESCO Bill QR Reader ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site provides

The Site is a free tool that decodes the QR code printed on electricity bills and displays the encoded charges in a readable format. It is provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

2. No affiliation

The Site is an independent project developed by QuickBytePK. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IESCO, PITC, or any government or utility authority. Official bills, payments and disputes must be handled through the relevant provider's official channels.

3. Accuracy and "as is" basis

The breakdown shown is derived from the data inside your bill's QR code. While we strive for accuracy, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The figures shown should not be treated as an official statement of account. Always rely on your official bill for payment.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use the Site only with bills you are authorised to view.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, overload, or misuse the Site.
  • Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickBytePK shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including any reliance on the information it displays.

6. Third-party services

The Site may load third-party services such as web fonts, analytics and advertising. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. Reading a PDF uses an open-source engine loaded from a public CDN.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code and content are owned by QuickBytePK unless otherwise stated. "IESCO" and other provider names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.

8. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
